AI Visibility Engine
Track your AI Visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.
Your customers ask ChatGPT and Gemini before they ask you. We measure your AI visibility: how often the assistants name and recommend your brand, every day, with numbers you can trust. So you know where you stand and what to do next.
By Dear Future · ChatGPT and other language models · Updated daily
Measured, not guessed
Every number for your AI visibility also shows the uncertainty. We only say your visibility rose or fell when it holds up across several weeks, not on a single day.
Ranked, not dumped
The places where a competitor gets recommended and your brand isn't named, we gather and rank by how likely acting is to move your visibility. You get a prioritized to-do list.
Ask it anything
Ask about your visibility in plain language, right inside ChatGPT or Claude. The numbers come with the answer.
Measured across the assistants your customers actually use
The starting point
You can't lead the AI landscape without knowing where you stand.
Partner with Dear Future and put the AI Visibility Engine on your brand: the assistants that matter for your market, tracked daily. We'll show you exactly where you stand, then guide you on what to fix first.
Book a walkthrough →The shift
0% of the time, the AI's top pick becomes the buyer's top pick when people research in AI search.

And 88% take the AI's shortlist without checking anywhere else. If the assistant doesn't mention you, you were never in the consideration set. That's the gap we measure.

A prompt from your library
“What are the best wireless earbuds right now?”
What the AI answered
For wireless earbuds, most people are pointed to your brand1, though a competitor2 is also frequently recommended for its sound quality.
We detect who is named, who is cited (linked), in what order, and in what tone, across many answers every week.
How it works
Four steps, run every day, for as long as it matters.
A baseline of around 120 questions your buyers could ask in your category, tailored to your market. It's built like a market survey, not a keyword list, so we measure broadly and fairly.
See the methodology →Every day we put the questions to the assistants that fit your market, for example ChatGPT and Gemini, under the same conditions, so the trend is comparable.
See the methodology →In each answer we find who is named and cited, brand by brand and without mix-ups.
See the methodology →We gather the numbers over time and show the uncertainty, so a change counts only when it holds, not on daily swings.
See the methodology →What you measure
Four signals for your AI visibility. Every brand, every competitor, every day.
Share of voice, last 8 weeks
You climbed from 22% to 38% share of voice, and passed the competitor in week 8.
Aggregated weekly. The shaded band shows the uncertainty: a move only counts as real when it clears the band, not when the daily number wobbles.
Share of Voice
Your brand's slice of the AI conversation versus the market, tracked over time.
Citations & sources
Which of your pages the assistant links to, and which competitors' pages win the answer when yours don't.
Mentions & tone
Whether your brand is named, in what order, and how it's talked about: positive, neutral, or negative.
Gaps & opportunities
The places where a competitor gets recommended and your brand isn't named, your highest-leverage places to act.
From data to decision
The numbers tell you what's real. We tell you what to do next.
Raw mention counts bounce around every day. We look at what holds up over time, and score each opportunity by how likely acting is to move your visibility. Then we sort your to-do list by that probability.
Then prove it worked.
Control groups let you A/B a content change against an untouched set of prompts, so you know the lift was your work, not the model drifting.

Conversational analytics
Ask your data. In plain language.
Connect your data to ChatGPT or Claude and just ask, in plain language. No dashboards to learn, no exports. The answer comes with the numbers behind it and links to the answers it's based on.
Other things people ask
You're behind on 4 commercial-intent prompts about wireless earbuds. Your share of voice there is 18% (±5pp) versus their 41%, a gap that's held up for several weeks, not a one-week blip. Highest-probability fix: a comparison page targeting that cluster.

Methodology
Honest numbers about your AI visibility, ones you can defend in a boardroom.
- ·Balanced across topics and buying stages, not search volume
- ·Neutral questions that don't mention your brand
- ·The same questions every day, so the trend is comparable
We take a broad, neutral sample of the questions your buyers could ask, and read the answers the way they do. We don't write questions that flatter you.
We don't promise more than the numbers can carry. Every estimate has a margin of error (a Wilson confidence interval), and we only call something a change once it holds over time. What we measure is also called LLM SEO, AI SEO or GEO.
Before you choose a tool
Five questions that sort AI visibility tools quickly.
Go ask any AI visibility provider, including us. You will notice how fast most answers get vague.
- 01Which model, exactly?“OpenAI” is not an answer. An unnamed model can be swapped for a cheaper one tomorrow, and your trend line will never tell you.
- 02Real web search, or from memory? An AI that searches cites live pages. Memory cites almost nothing, and costs a fraction to run. Guess which one most tools measure.
- 03Asked from where, in which language?Danish buyers ask in Danish, from Denmark. English prompts from a US data center measure a market you are not in.
- 04How often do you actually ask?A daily graph should come from daily questions, not a weekly sample with a smooth line drawn through it.
- 05Can I read the raw answers?Every score should trace back to a stored answer you can open. If it cannot, what is the number built on?
- Our five answers, on the record
- · Named model versions on every data point
- · Real web search, from your country, in your language
- · Asked daily, every answer stored for two years
- · Processed in the EU
- · Raw answers open to your team, even inside Claude
If the answers you get elsewhere go vague, you already have your answer.
FAQ
Questions we get a lot.
SEO is about ranking high in the search results. AI visibility is about the assistant naming and recommending you in the answer itself, including Google's AI Overviews. They overlap, but they're not the same, and increasingly the AI answer is the first thing your buyer sees.
