Peec AI: what it is, and when to choose something else
By Kristian Stig Henriksen · Dear Future
Peec AI is a European platform for measuring brand visibility in AI answers, and one of the strongest in the field. Whether it is the right choice for you depends on how you work: does your team want to run the analysis in a dashboard themselves, or do you want the measurement delivered with advisory and a plan? Here is the honest version of both answers.
Honest label: this page is written by Dear Future, which builds a competing product. We keep the description factual, praise what Peec does well, and link to peec.ai so you can verify everything yourself.

What is Peec AI?
Peec AI is built for marketing teams that want to follow their brand's visibility across AI assistants: who gets named, who gets cited, and how the share develops against competitors, across markets. The platform is self-serve, and Peec has distinguished itself on transparency: they are open about how their numbers are made, which is not the norm in this field. That deserves to be said plainly, because it is exactly the standard buyers should demand of every vendor, including us.
When is Peec the right choice?
- Your team has its own analysis resources and wants to work in the dashboard itself, without advisory as part of the delivery.
- You monitor many markets and brands in one self-serve platform and have the processes to act on the numbers on your own.
- You want an established European SaaS vendor with a large product team behind it.
When should you choose something else?
Our AI Visibility Engine is built on a different division of labor: the measurement is the subscription, and advisory sits on top. Choose that route if one or more of these describe you:
- You want a daily measurement with real web search and named model versions, where uncertainty is shown with confidence intervals so development can be separated from noise.
- Your market is Denmark or the Nordics: the questions are designed in your language and asked from your market, and the analysis is delivered by people who know the category.
- You want the gaps turned into a plan: a roadmap with concrete tasks, which can also be driven through MCP inside your own AI assistant.
- You want to open the raw answer behind any number, stored in the EU for two years.
- You want category exclusivity: we do not onboard your direct competitor as a client.
Peec AI vs. Dear Future: the short version
The two routes climb the same mountain: both measure mentions, citations and share of voice in AI answers. The difference is the delivery. Peec is a self-serve platform you run yourself; ours is a measured service with advisory, built for the Danish and Nordic market. Neither is objectively best; what decides it is who will do the work with the numbers afterwards.

What does Peec AI cost?
Peec publishes current prices and packages on peec.ai, and the price depends on scope such as the number of prompts, markets and brands. We deliberately do not restate their prices here; prices change, and you should always check a vendor's own pricing page rather than a competitor's retelling.
Is there a Danish alternative to Peec AI?
Yes. Dear Future's AI Visibility Engine is built in Denmark for Danish and Nordic brands: daily measurement with real web search, uncertainty shown with confidence intervals, raw answers stored in the EU, and advisory on top of the numbers. The division of labor is the difference: a platform you run yourself, versus measurement delivered with a plan.
Can you use both Peec and the AI Visibility Engine?
Yes, technically without problems; they measure related things and do not interfere with each other. In practice it rarely makes sense to pay twice for the measurement. Better to run a period with the same ten questions in both, compare method and raw answers, and pick the one that fits how you work.
